KSP received Two Awards by Ministry of Environment and Forestry

In 2019, Komodo Survival Program (KSP) is awarded two awards by Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Around mid year, we were awarded by The Minister of Environment and Forestry an award for our contribution in supporting conservation effort in natural reserves and protected area. This award was given in the National Day of Nature Conservation in Muka Kuning Natural Reserve, Batam, on 7 August 2019.

The second award was given on 23 October 2018, when Achmad Ariefiandy and Deni Purwandana received a certificate from Directorate General of Natural Resource and Ecosystem Conservation Board, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, together with Komodo National Park staff and Natural Resource and Ecosystem Conservation Board of NTT for a lifetime achievement in 15 years of research and monitor komodo dragon population. This award was given in Technical Coordination Meeting of Directorate of Nature Conservation and Ecosystem in Jakarta. This event was attended by all of the National Parks’ heads and all Natural Resource and Ecosystem Conservation Board, as well as NGOs and conservationists across Indonesia.
